VADO is a community-based non-profit organization focused on strengthening communities through practical, people-centered support.
Hands for Community is our community health support initiative, created to help improve access to basic medical care and health resources for underserved communities.

This activity focuses on supporting children with disabilities through rehabilitation-related care and essential health assistance, helping improve daily function and quality of life.
Community Care for the Elderly
We will be working with residents
at Vi Hoang Nursing Home - 1366/18/16 National Highway 1, Quarter 4, Thoi An Ward Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This effort centers on basic health support, check-ins, and care assistance for elderly residents—ensuring they receive attention, dignity, and practical support.
Cataract Surgery for Seniors
In partnership with local medical professionals at 20–22 Street 156 An Dương, Phú Định Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Hands for Community will sponsor cataract surgeries for 100 seniors.
By restoring vision, these surgeries help older adults regain independence, improve daily functioning, and return to everyday life with greater confidence. This effort provides direct, practical medical care with lasting impact.

Through our community work, VADO has seen how limited access to basic medical support can affect families long after other forms of assistance are available. When healthcare is delayed or out of reach, small health issues can quickly turn into long-term challenges.
That is why Hands for Community focuses on practical, community-based health support such as basic medical assistance, health guidance, and connecting people to the care they need. These efforts help reduce barriers, support early intervention, and strengthen overall community well-being.
