The Mid-Autumn Festival 2025
Hosted by the Vietnamese American Development Organization (VADO) at Katy Mills Mall, the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 celebrates one of the most beloved cultural traditions in the Vietnamese and Asian community.
Taking place on October 4 and 5, 2025, the festival brings families, friends, and visitors together for two days of joy, color, and cultural connection.
A Celebration of Heritage and Family
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a time for reunion, gratitude, and happiness under the full moon.
This year’s event at Katy Mills Mall transforms the venue into a vibrant cultural space filled with lanterns, music, and laughter — capturing the heart of the season and the beauty of Vietnamese tradition in the heart of Texas.
Highlights of the Festival
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of festive activities designed for all ages:
Lion Dance & Martial Arts Show – A dynamic performance that sets the tone for celebration.
Lantern Display & Photo Zone – A dazzling space to capture your favorite festival moments.
Balloon Twist, Bounce House & Face Painting – Joyful fun for kids and families.

A Spirit of Community
Beyond the entertainment, the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 serves as a bridge between generations and cultures.
It’s a reminder of the shared joy that connects people — from the glowing lanterns of childhood to the laughter echoing through families gathered together.
Held at 5000 Katy Mills Cir, Katy, TX 77494, the event reflects VADO’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage while creating meaningful experiences for the Vietnamese-American and greater Houston community.
