As part of its ongoing commitment to community development and education, the Houston Vietnamese American Development Organization (HVAD) recently visited An Thanh Primary School – Hoa Thanh Campus in Ninh Phuoc District, Vietnam.
This meaningful trip marked another milestone in HVAD’s journey to support education and nurture the next generation.
A Day Filled with Smiles and Gratitude
During the visit, HVAD members presented school supplies, backpacks, and a bicycle to students facing difficult circumstances.
The moment the children received their gifts was filled with excitement and joy — a reminder that even small gestures can bring great encouragement and motivation.
The event also offered a chance for HVAD representatives to meet with local teachers and administrators, sharing mutual goals of promoting education and improving learning conditions for students in rural areas.
Empowering the Future Through Education
At An Thanh Primary School, the simple yet powerful motto displayed at the gate —“Every Day at School Is a Happy Day” — resonated deeply with the spirit of HVAD’s mission.
By providing educational support and resources, the organization hopes to inspire children to embrace learning, dream bigger, and believe in a brighter future.
A Shared Effort of Love and Community
This program reflects the heart of HVAD’s mission — connecting Vietnamese abroad with their homeland through acts of kindness and compassion.
Each gift, each visit, and each smile shared is a step toward building bridges of understanding, hope, and opportunity for the next generation.
